JMU is offering the JMU Cross-Cultural Program: U.S. History, Culture, and Society July 5 through August 1. During the program students engage in exploring different aspects of the United States as a nation. Academic component includes a variety of classes and lectures offered by JMU professors and guest speakers. Study of important historical leaders and events in U.S. history, as well as an overview of U.S. society and its diverse culture are the focus of the program as well. Cultural program includes visiting historical places in Washington D.C. and interaction with the local community.
The cost to student includes only the airfare to an airport closest to JMU. Study materials, meals, and accommodation are provided by the program. More information about the program is available in the JMU Cross Cultural Program Summary.
