Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) / Virtual Exchange projects align with INU’s strategic priorities in providing a sustainable and responsible way for intercultural learning and engagement between members. As such, INU welcomes expressions of interest from faculty/ staff at INU member universities who are interested in developing such collaborations.
If you would like to establish a connection with an INU member university to develop such a project, please do contact INU Coordinator, providing a brief project outline (objectives, timeframe, structure), as well as the name of the University/ies you’d be interested in working with, and subject area which you’d like to focus on.
If funding is required for the online tools to facilitate this project, you may like to consider applying for the INU’s Seed Money Funding
Please do consult with your own university Teaching and Learning department/ International Office to see what support and tools may already be available to you to facilitate virtual exchange also.
To learn more about COIL, you may like to refer to the COIL resources page hosted by INU member, Rovira i Virgili University (URV), Spain, which provides useful outline of the advantages of COIL projects. Please note the support offered here is specifically for staff of URV / URV collaborations and the website is for reference only.
We look forward to hearing from you and facilitating your collaboration!
