2014 Professional Staff Training
The training will focus on Academic and Career Advising, and Service Learning.
Cost
The home university will provide airfare. Transportation from airport to JMU and back will be provided by JMU. Participants will be asked to pay for their local transportation if it is not planned as a part of training.
Host university, JMU, will provide accommodation for one participating staff from each member institution. Home university will cover accommodation expenses for any additional staff.
All meals during the training will be provided. However, on the days of arrival and departure from JMU not all meals may be provided.

Universitas Katolik Parahyangan (UNPAR) is organizing an UNPAR 2015 International Student Conference on Global Citizenship. The main topic of the conference is “Sustainable Urban and Human Settlement : Creating a Smart City for All”. This is a good opportunity for students to interact with other 90 students from all over the world and 50 UNPAR Students. They also will have a chance to learn about Indonesian culture and to visit historical places in Indonesia. This conference will increase awareness of the students about their important role as a global citizen to cope with global problems. UNPAR invites participation from students from INU. The 19th INU Council Meeting will be held at the end of February at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University. More details will be released at a later date.
INU Workshop on Global Health and Nursing, the third annual workshop will be held August 3-10, 2015 at Hiroshima University, Japan. With the theme of Disaster Nursing, this workshop will bring together expert nursing faculty and nursing student from around the world to examine the role of nursing in situations when natural and man-made disasters impact human populations.
INU Summer Master’s School for Global Citizenship and Peace, the seventh annual master’s school will be held August 4-11, 2015 at Hiroshima University, Japan. The following themes will be addressed during the program:
- Global Governance and International Policy (International Law / Treaties)
- Responsibility and Justice in Global Politics
- Strategic Decision Making
- Realising Human Rights: The case of ASEAN
Master’s school will bring together academics and students from Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, North and South America to examine the relationships among global change, globalization , and the concept of global citizenship.
INU Master’s School for Environmental Science, the fourth annual master’s school will be held August 5-11, 2015 at Hiroshima University, Japan. With the theme of Global Environmental Sustainability – Water Quality, Master’s School for Environmental Science will bring together academics and graduate students to explore ways of addressing this compelling global problem.
