In March 2021 Kingston Business School (KBS) launched the Global Citizenship Programme to address the needs of growing socially driven student community and help to tackle some of the major global challenges. The programme aims to help participants around the world to develop skills for global citizenship and empower them to create a positive impact in their lives, communities and businesses around the world. KBS partnered with 8 universities around the world to deliver the programme supported by a diverse range of guest speakers, influencers, and social shifters; the Global Citizenship Programme welcomed over 170 participants.
Aims of the programme:
- Help participants to tackle some of the major global challenges and develop an understanding on a range of global issues;
- Support participants to engage in interdisciplinary learning experiences and develop skills for global citizenship while working on the sustainability simulation game in groups
This year we are looking to expand the Global Citizenship programme and we look forward to welcoming students from INU member universities. Participation is free to INU member students, who are asked to register online to confirm attendance.
