“Challenges for local development in Latin America. A critical vision of the UN 2023 agenda”
Over the course of approximately three months, students will participate in a simulation activity as part of the junior professional staff of a Consultancy Company dedicated to advising local communities to create development policies. They will address the challenge of proposing a Strategic Development Plan for an underprivileged community within a Latin American context.
Dates:
Online sessions will run from 5th June – 21st July, followed by two weeks in-person visit in at Universidad Nacional del Litoral in Santa Fe, Argentina will run from 31st July – 11th August.
Call for Speakers from INU members
UNL would like to invite expressions of interest from INU member universities for speakers to contribute to the program. Ideally, UNL is looking for three Faculty and three Teaching Assistants from INU members universities to participate. The areas of focus are:
- Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions
- Work and Economic Growth
- Sustainable Cities and Communities
- Responsible Consumption and Production
- Good Health and Well-Being
Expressions of interest from staff who have an interest and commitment to Latin America development issues are particularly welcome.

The deadline for expressions of interest from speakers is 14th April 2023.
Call for student applications
Applications open on 1st March and students at INU member universities are invited to apply attend. Students can come from any discipline or level of study. Those in their final year or masters may benefit the most.
The students must speak English – this can be both as their native language or as a second language. There are no requirements to speak Spanish, however it will be an advantage to the student if they do,
Costs for students: The cost for students will be U$D 200.- or U$D 300.- if they book UNL accommodation facilities. Students will be required to cover the costs of their flights/subsistence also.
