Students at INU member universities are welcome to apply to attend INU’s flagship program for students; The International Student Seminar for Global Citizenship and Peace, hosted by Hiroshima University Japan.
This year, the theme will focus on The UN SDGs and sustainable economic development, as INU celebrates 20 years since the very first Student Seminar in 2006. Further information can be found here
The seminar includes:
- Lectures and workshops with academic experts and guest speakers from around the world;
- Interactive seminars that encourage stimulating discussion and learning;
- Japanese culture
- Attendance at the Peace memorial events as part of 6th August commemoration of atomic bombing of Hiroshima
- Students learn skills relating to international diplomacy and negotiation, as they represent a country as part of the role-play of a special session of the United Nations General Assembly;
- A truly international student body
