The International Network of Universities (INU) is a global consortium comprised of higher education institutions that actively seek international partnerships and experiences, create innovative programming and delivery methods, and embrace the internationalization movement. INU Summer Master’s School for Global Citizenship and Peace, the seventh annual master’s school will be held August 4-11, 2015 at Hiroshima University, Japan.  The following themes will be addressed during the program:

  1. Global Governance and International Policy (International Law / Treaties)
  2. Responsibility and Justice in Global Politics
  3. Strategic Decision Making
  4. Realising Human Rights: The case of ASEAN

Master’s school will bring together academics and students from Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, North and South America to examine the relationships among global change, globalization , and the concept of global citizenship.

INU Master’s School for Environmental Science, the fourth annual master’s school will be held August 5-11, 2015 at Hiroshima University, Japan.  With the theme of Global Environmental Sustainability – Water Quality, Master’s School for Environmental Science will bring together academics and graduate students to explore ways of addressing this compelling global problem.

INU Student Seminar for Global Citizenship and Peace, the tenth annual seminar will be held August 5-11, 2015, at Hiroshima University, Japan.  With a theme of Gender, Peace, and Security seminar will bring together academics and students from around the world to explore role of gender in addressing peace and security.  Scheduled to take place concurrent with the Peace Memorial Ceremony on August 6.

Hiroshima atomic bomb survivor Mr. Keijiro Matsushima dies

It is with heavy heard that we share the sad news of the passing of a great man. Mr. Keijiro Matsushima, the atomic bomb survivor who shared his story and touched many lives during the INU Student Seminar on Global Citizenship and Peace, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2014.
