Student seminar on Global Citizenship and Peace
The International Network of Universities runs an annual student seminar on Global Citizenship. This year's Seminar was very appreciated and more reports from the event is yet to come.
Master's Summer School on Global Citizenship
In August 2009 the first INU Master's Summer School on Global Citizenship was held in Hiroshima, kindly hosted by Hiroshima University.Reports and pictures from the Summer School will be up on the site soon!
Joint Master's Program on Global Citizenship and Peace
The INU has established a Joint Master’s Program on Global Citizenship and Peace at seven of its ten member institutions. The Program includes a compulsory Summer School in Hiroshima and an optional exchange semester at one of the partner universities.
Student exchange
With the establishment of the INU, many member Universities have enhanced the opportunities for students to add a truly international dimension to their studies by making it possible to undertake courses at a partner university for accreditation towards their degree at home.
Guidelines for credit transfer within INU
The INU credit transfer system has been developed to facititate student exchange within the network. The aim is to help make exchange more effective by ensuring credit for study (or other types of learning) undertaken on exchange..
Henry Fong Student Award for contributing to Global Citizenship 2009
Through the generous donation by Dr Henry Fong, the INU offers the Henry Fong Award to a student from the INU Student Seminar 2009. The award will be offered to an INU student who is contributing to the concept of Global Citizenship.
