Researcher Mobility Program
The Researcher Mobility Program allows Ph.D. candidates and/or pre-tenured faculty within the INU network to engage in research at an INU partner university. Currently available research opportunities are listed below.
Mobility Program for Doctoral Researchers “Viadrina International Program” (VIP)
In close cooperation with the Department of International Affairs, the Viadrina Center for Graduate Studies (VCGS) of the European University Viadrina has established the Viadrina International Program – for Graduates (VIP), promoted by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. The program aims to support the international networking of doctoral candidates and their stronger involvement in international research settings and discourses. The program runs until October 2017 at the European University Viadrina and in 2016 also offers doctoral candidates a long-term opportunity to create an international research and career profile.
International doctoral candidates may apply for research and acquaintance stays at the European University Viadrina to familiarize themselves with the research environment there. These fellowships allow international doctoral candidates to establish relationships with Viadrina professors for research collaboration or potential doctoral opportunities (e.g., joint degrees and cotutelle agreements). International doctoral candidates may apply for the following opportunities:
- Fellowships for acquaintance stays at the European University Viadrina (1 month)
- Fellowships for research stays at the European University Viadrina (max. 3 month)
The application deadline is March 20, 2016.
For detailed information please see the individual calls on the website of the VIP: www.europa-uni.de/VIP.
