The INU Secretariat coordinates a range of activities in mobility, benchmarking and research co-operation.
Shadowing program for administrative staff
All INU member universities are invited annually to participate in the INU Shadowing program. The application deadline for the 2008 round was 28 March 2008. Nominations received will be presented to the INU Executive in May 2008 for approval.
Special interest group for university libraries
The Special Interest Group held its inaugural meeting in Malmo on 26 April 2006 and met again in Melbourne in April 2007. The 2008 meeting is to take place at James Madison University, date to be advised.
Special interest group for research managers
The establishment of the group was one of the outcomes of the Research workshop hosted by Ritsumeikan University in October 2006.
Administrative Staff Job Exchanges
In 2007 the INU Council gave in principle support for administrative staff within member institutions to have the opportunity to pursue job exchanges within the Network.
