The INU Student Seminar 2008 Report has been prepared. This report was presented to the INU Council meeting in Kyoto, Japan on 13th November 2008. Any comments or queries relating to the report can be directed to the Project Manager, Dawn Koban.

Collaborating on Power, Security and Norms; Malmö and Leicester Universities
Earlier this year, Professor Mark Pythian and Dr Annika Bergman-Rosamond from University of Leicester visited Malmö University to discuss the possibility of research collaboration between the following bodies:
University of Leicester -
- Department of Politics and International Relations
- Department of Media and Communication Studies
Malmö University -
- Department of Political Global Studies
- School of Arts and Communication
That visit resulted in the workshop held at Malmö in early December to identify individuals interested in a bilateral project on Power, Security and Norms. This title was chosen to encourage interdisciplinary work on a broad range of issues, including (though not restricted to) inequalities in power at local and/or global levels, human security and global ethics.
While the results of the workshop are yet to be released, organizers Pauline Stoltz from Malmö and Professor Phythian are excited about the potential field opening between their institutions.
