About the university
Flinders University is a modern university with more than 15,000 students and nearly 500 academic and teaching staff. The University provides a comprehensive range of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees across all four faculties. The Faculty of Science and Engineering, the Faculty of Education, Humaities, Law and Theolgy, the Faculty of Social Sciences and the Faculty of Health Sciences. A number of programs are also offered externally or off shore. Resarch is a core activity at Flinders University and the University consistently ranks among Australia's top universities on a per capita basis for research spending and for the citation of our work in professional journals.
Location
Flinders University is situated on 180 hectares just 20 minutes south of Adelaide's city centre in a safe, attractive location. There is on campus accommodation, regular bus services to the nearby beach, shopping centre and Adelaide City Centre. The climate of Adelaide is Mediteranean, the summer months are December to February with a maximum average of 29 degrees celsius.
