The Executive Committee of the INU oversees and follows up the activities outlined in the annual workplan for the Network.
The Executive Committee meets prior to the biannual Council meeting and twice a year via videoconferences if need be.
In 2012, the Executive Committee met during the 1st INU Conference in Tokyo, March 5-8, 2012 and at the EAIE Conference in Dublin on September 13, 2012. In 2011, the Executive Committee met at the premises of the new INU member Universitat Rovira i Virgili April 5-6 and gathered prior to the INU Council meeting at James Madison University, USA, on October 30, 2011.
In 2010, the Executive Committee met at Flinders University, Adelaide, Australia on April 12-13. In conjunction with that meeting the Committee paid a visit to member La Trobe University, Melbourne Australia. A second Executive Committee meeting took place on June 22 via teleconference. The third Executive Committee meeting for 2010 was held at Kyung Hee University, Republic of Korea on conjunction with the INU Council meeting October 25.
