Through several generous donations to the network, the Riady family of Indonesia has significantly contributed to the development of INU activities. The donations are being used to support a number of the Network’s activities such as the development of the Joint Master’s Program and collaborative research activities.
The support of Indonesian students is an important part of the work of the Riady donation. Through the donation two students from the Indonesian INU member Universitas Katolik Parahyangan were funded to participate in the INU Student Seminar on Global Citizenship and Peace in Hiroshima, August 2010. Universitas Katolik Parahyangan selected the two very ambitous students Ms Louisa Veronica Hartono and Mr Adhi Saputro Nugroho to go to Hiroshima. Thanks to the Riady Donations the two students had a very rewarding week, meeting with students from all over the Network.
